History
Department of Physics and Astronomy and methods of teaching various transformations names existed since 1939.
The current quality as releasing, department received in 1992 p., when the faculty was introduced specialty «Physics and Informatics and Computer Science.» In 2003 it was renamed the Department of Physics and Astronomy and methods of teaching, which is headed by Professor , Doctor of Pedagogy MT Martynyuk V., past the department over the years worked Kaydash M., RomanovskyI., Tatarchuk B., VG FAQ
During the entire existence of the department defended 2 doctoral thesis ( Zhelezniak O., Martinyuk M. ) and about 20 PhD theses ( Dudyk M., Kaydash M., V. Kalenyk V., L. Kovalev L., Krasnobokyy Y., Martyniuk M., Tatarchuk V., Tereshchuk S., Tkachenko I., Factors V., and others).
The main direction of scientific research of the department is to perform a complex topic "Functional and industry approach to the training of teacher’s education industry «Natural» for general educational institutions," which serves teachers, students and students, teachers, experimenters led by Professor Martynyuk M.
The department has MESCenter of double subordination NAPS of Ukraine and Ukraine «ICT teaching physics and astronomy. » Centre coordinates the research activities of scientists Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and academics in the field of methods of implementing ICT teaching physics and astronomy in the practice of the modern school. The Center is scientific work of teachers, graduate students and teachers - practitioners regularly conducted scientific - methodical seminars on the implementation of the new content of physics in secondary schools. Also, the department operates scientific school doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor and corresponding member of NAPS of Ukraine Martyniuk M.
